Pros

The leadership team is responsible and engaged and genuinely cares about the company's mission and its employees. Compensation is evaluated regularly (they'll give you a raise before you ask for it) and great performance is rewarded financially and with promotion. The company is growing quickly because there's a real demand for their product, which is an exciting environment to be in. The best part is the people who work here: my colleagues are brilliant, engaged, and fun to be around.

Kontras

Typical start-up growing pains like lack of defined processes in certain areas. I think most folks are generally able to keep a handle on work-life balance but sometimes the hours can be a stretch since the company is growing so quickly. NYC employees are expected to be in the office 2-3 days/week.

Pros

There is real demand for eligibility products. Have some big customers in mental health space.

Kontras

Toxic work culture (they knowingly keep a**holes) and low compensation (for tech) means the talented and competent people don’t stay long. Don’t see them being able to hire top talent to grow. Increasing competition with cheaper and AI solutions. Leadership is poor with no clear direction and inability to focus. Constantly overselling and under delivering.
