Terrible - Mitarbeiter (anonym) bei Newberry Library: Mitarbeiterbewertung

Working here has been honestly terrible. Senior staff is uninterested in changing anything to show respect for employees. They refuse to pay staff a living wage despite multiple respectful and thoughtful pleas. In these meetings the president of the library told staff to "ask their parents for help." Yes, really. I have a Masters degree and take home less than $20,000 a year. Due to this, employees feel unappreciated and morale is extremely low. I would not recommend working here to anyone, unless you're a masochist who wants to reach new levels of clinical depression.
