Pros
The area of research is very much needed and a cure for Alzheimer's is extremely important, there is no doubt about that. I just want to stress what it is like to work there when you have a disability.

This review is mainly as a caution to those with disabilities. There are so many disability confident employers out there, but unfortunately this is not one of them.
I was extremely looking forward to working here and was excited by the opportunity, however, the working environment was extremely hostile. Only when I was away from it all did I realise how toxic the workplace was, e.g. everyone talking behind everyone else's backs.
Regardless of that, I was treated very differently to everyone else and it was purely due to my disability. It was my first time working with such a disability and so there were definitely things I learnt that I could have done differently but nether-the-less, the way the CEO handled things was discriminatory and I was unfairly treated.
I was made to feel like I was at fault but only until I moved onto a new employer who actually took the time to work with me and did not see my disability as a barrier but something that just needed to be considered, I realised how unjustly I had been previously treated. There is an argument that Neuro-bio is a small company and so doesn't have the resources to support me, however the company I moved on to was equally as small and I worked there with no problem at all. I realised that was just an excuse they gave me to justify their behaviour.
