There has been a lot of change and a lot of new hires. Unfortunately, this has created an attack vector for individuals that never would have been hired in the past, and the atmosphere is now quite toxic. Voicing opposition to stupid ideas will get you labeled as "resistant to change" and you will either be fired or forced out. Bonus is stressed as part of compensation package, but don't expect to get it, at least any time soon. Options are also held up as a great incentive, but after the investors take their share, there won't be much, if anything, left for options when the company eventually sells again. Who wants to bust their butt for several years for a "bonus" of one or two thousand dollars? Much better off getting a new job with a substantial raise.
