Pros
Remote option is fantastic. If you’re an independent worker with knowledge of ag and computers, it’s an easy easy job. Good place to learn a lot and make early career moves. They offer some tuition assistance, so it’s a good job to have to work on a post grad. Good option if you have no work experience, too, like fresh out of school.
Kontras
The team is always understaffed and underpaid. The workload and pressure is insane for what it is. The starting salary is 40k usually, and you will have to fight tooth and nail to maybe get more than a grand for an annual raise. Upper management has no idea about the workload or what the team actually does, and corporate doesn’t care (obviously). The company refuses to increase wages, and plays dumb about why they can’t keep turnover down. If you don’t burn out in a year or two, you can move up just a little, but be ready to teach yourself new skills if you want to move laterally.
