Most of management listens to employees. Genomics branch is a leader in its industry and still growing and willing to create positions to fit new needs and employee abilities. Most employees are dedicated and enjoy what they do.

Limited opportunity for raises beyond 2-3% cost of living raise. Otherwise, you're essentially locked into your starting wage. Proximity to multiple Universities seems to enable the company to not increase employees pay in proportion to their increased value over time. Instead, they continue paying starting wages (with cost of living increases) and simply replace employees as they leave for greener pastures.
