      wide variety of opprotunities, very satisfying work, decent promotional potential and really bright hardworking people.

      If you are not an engineer you will not make it to senior management. This narrows the perspective at the top to the point that it is a bit of an echo chamber

      Decent pay and benefits for the area, unique work that you can't do many other places, good opportunities for travel and promotion

      Commute and parking turns 8 hour shifts into 10 hour shifts, mandatory overtime and travel for periods of several months, frequent shutdowns, very poor morale, terrible first level supervision, mediocre middle management
