Frankly, If you are a below middle management it isn't entirely that great. Benefits are on par with industry standards. Bonuses are fair, if you get them.

This business enterprise is a top-heavy, acquisition hungry, enigmatic puzzle that hasn't quite got all its pieces sorted out yet. The management hierarchy here needs some really coarse tuning. Simply put, the company is in dire need of skilled professionals who invite new ideas, and who actually take action on centralized goals that promote the wellbeing of the business and its employees. Unfortunately, the politics are abundant here at NOV, but hey that is typical of any work environment. Sometimes it can be overwhelming however, you just have to pick your fights wisely.
