Pros

– You know your impact: I've never worked at a company that's so good at prioritizing. Every team knows exactly what they need to be working on and has sightline into how it influences company objectives. – Quarterly in-person offsites: Remote work can get blah after a while. Getting together at amazing locations with the team helps so much with trusting and enjoying working with your teammates. – The smartest people I've ever met: Everyone is absolutely brilliant. But not in a "I'm smarter than you" kind of way. I learn something new with every interaction I have.

Kontras

– A very high bar for quality: The bar for what we create and put out into the world is extremely high. But at the same time, we don't tinker until it's perfect. The balance between moving quickly and maintaining high rigor always makes for interesting debates.

Pros

Nice people in every department & very tight-knit culture for a remote company. Quarterly offsites don't replace in-person camaraderie & innovation but help everyone get to know each other and feel like they're part of the same mission. Good deal sizes and the companies you're selling into are forward-thinking and fun to work with. The product is the best in a very small and saturated market (only sell to other SaaS companies).

Kontras

Hired 70 people from early 2022 to spring 2023 and then turned around and laid off 30 people (30% of the company) because the slowdown in the tech sector didn't abate as quickly as they thought. This could have been easily avoided given the entire customer/prospect base was experiencing budget cuts & layoffs. Churn is an issue and I don't know if I see this company exceeding the lofty, Google-like aspirations they once had. They also tend to hire really experienced people but don't lean on their experience and expertise. Decisions are made in a vacuum without the input of those on the front lines. C-level "Sales" leadership is more aligned with Finance & Ops Most reps with families got pushed out / let go
