The workload for coaches is too much - very surprised you don't get more burnouts or people going on sick leave because of that. You're expected to look after 130-140 learners FROM THE START right after onboarding, when you don't know anything about the role or processes. We are client-faced, we should be experts before being in front of learners in order to help and support as much as possible. I get questions every day that I don't have the answers to, and it feels embarrassing to say the least.
Quantity over quality here and it feels like all the company cares about is the money and getting as many learners through as possible, without thinking about the wellbeing of your employees and the quality of the support learners are receiving.
As a coach you are spinning too many plates which is not sustainable - you are responsible for keeping the learners in the programme too which feels very pushy - as a learner if I decide to leave, I shouldn't be begged by my coach to stay, and sometimes it does feel like this is what's expected of us.
