      Pretty relaxed environment...most of the times!

      Kontras

      Hard (impossible almost) to get promoted, even as a top performer. Since it is hard to find qualified people, thinking that the current employees are 'stuck', the mgmt prefers to bring people from outside. So after 6+years.... I was able to get a promotion and more money....with ANOTHER company:) Also, very important, unfortunately, advanced degrees aren't valued @ Moog.

      Pros

      The company has a bit of a startup-like vibe, and still feels established. They’re pretty open to letting younger engineers take on real responsibility , which makes it a good place to grow. From what I’ve seen in all-hands meetings, the senior leadership also seems to genuinely care about employees—you can kind of tell they’re paying attention and trying to take care of the team.

      Although Moog promotes an unlimited PTO policy and emphasizes work-life balance, the actual execution is highly inconsistent and depends heavily on management. Some managers are supportive, while others induce guilt, leading to a culture where employees either underutilize their time or feel uncertain about expectations. Furthermore, compensation lags behind the market average, and internal career growth feels stagnant rather than actively supported.
