MongoDB is committed to building a diverse organization and fostering a culture of inclusion: “Embrace the power of difference” is one of our core values, and we recognize that every individual has their own unique perspectives and experiences that make them who they are. We continiously strive to increase the representation of women and nonbinary individuals in sales roles. Within our Sales organization, we have made consistent progress increasing the percentage of women in the org, while building a culture of inclusion among Sales leaders. Our Sell Like a Girl affinity group, founded by women in Sales leadership back in 2020 and sponsored by our CRO, is another source of impact. The group aims to make MongoDB a top employer for people who identify as women in Sales by supporting the recruitment process of women candidates and retention of women sales executives through support, leadership development, and mentorship. Pros

Supportive people, a strong culture, and meaningful flexibility are the biggest positives. I've had the chance to work with thoughtful colleagues who care about doing good work and helping each other succeed. There are solid opportunities to learn, build relationships across teams, and contribute in a way that feels impactful.

Workloads can be heavy during busy periods, and priorities can sometimes shift quickly (which is expected in growing companies)

Remote work and decent pay

Kontras

Really depends on the team, however middle management needs to be addressed. Toxic culture that truly depends on who your manager is. Silent layoffs are made to seem "Performance-based", then job is re-posted at a reduced range. Proceed with caution and understand that HR is not your friend.
