      Mission has good wages for the area, and overall good benefits. The time off allowances are outstanding. Some areas have fun working environments.

      This is likely not a place you want to work long term. Mission also has poor wages compared to other cities. Some areas are not fun to work in.

      Pros

      Full time hours, possible Overtime, I am on a great team, and the people there are really supportive and friendly . They welcomed the new comer with open arms and never once felt like a burden. I

      Short staffed, Not as consistent with some of the processes but they are working on it

      Pros

      Great nurses, resilient community, many leadership growth opportunities, large hospital with many specialties, the only level 1 trauma center in WNC.

      Kontras

      The hours are very challenging. often 5am to 6pm M-F. No additional compensation for extra hours, nights, or on-call weekends. You must love the work, and have minimal need for work-life balance to enjoy working here.
