The employee group as a whole are extemely friendly and great to work with. Most are very experienced professionals and want to put out the best products they can. The health benefits are unusally good for the TPA industry and affordably priced for the individual employee.

Midlands is owned by PMA/Old Republic Insurance Company. The top level management of Midlands is generally inept and certainly not leaders. You're on your own with this employer with the only incentive to go to work each day is to get in your billable hours. Over the last year the company has made it increasingly more difficult to make a decent income with lots of "unbillable" time expected that you won't get paid for. No paid time off e.g., vacation, holidays sick time. PMA is supposed to take over the day to day management of Midlands in October per the purchase agreement. Hopefully PMA has some significant changes planned to make this a desirable place to work.
