Pros

You will make a lot of money and bonuses are actually really good.

Kontras

The culture is terrible. My team is constantly shifting out employees and my bosses do absolutely nothing to support you. God help you if you end up working on a project with badly defined requirements. Any new team member will have a hard time trying to ingratiate themselves into teams in order to do their jobs. Also expect to work 60+ hours a week just to keep up with the workload.

Your feedback is appreciated. Micron has an annual process for team members to provide feedback for their direct supervisor and a bi-annual engagement survey to solicit feedback on a variety of topics including culture, work life integration, availability and meaningfulness. We encourage team members to provide candid feedback and take action as a team to grow engagement and ensure Micron continues to be a great place to work. In addition, we are in the process of enhancing our onboarding process and system to ensure new team members can contribute and integrate more quickly.

Pros

Decent pay, great stock grants and stock purchase plan. You can be at the forefront of memory technology driving today's AI megaboom, and benefit from the high demand (i.e. soaring stock price).

Kontras

Little sense of community, lifeless office environment, dead-eyed and overworked employees. "Flexible work arrangements" in name only, as recent policy changes have significantly reduced effectiveness especially if you have a long commute or family life. Too much emphasis on unimportant buzz such as embracing diversity and inclusion is just annoying, but par for the course in today's big tech industry.
