Pros

Headquarters are located in Boise, which is a beautiful city to live. There are plenty of friendly people working for the company. Most departments are very welcoming.

Kontras

You will be worked to death. Upper management will dangle a carrot in front of you for promotion if you keep working hard, but in reality it will likely not happen. Get used to hearing a lot of hollow excuses. There are a lot of office politics, and friends of management are who gets promoted (mainly men). If you’re not in the ‘frat boy club’ then you likely won’t be successful.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. To meet requirements of promotion, team members must be performing at 80% of the next job level. Additionally, there must be a business need, which sometimes requires team members to transfer to other functions where this work is needed. We are in the process of developing and deploying a Career Development program called 'Empowered Careers,' focused on providing team members the learning and necessary resources to help them truly own their career. This program will help team members like you to identify career opportunities aligned to your strengths, partner with your supervisor and other team members on a successful development plan, and engage in purposeful learning opportunities to achieve your career goals.

Pros

Decent pay, great stock grants and stock purchase plan. You can be at the forefront of memory technology driving today's AI megaboom, and benefit from the high demand (i.e. soaring stock price).

Kontras

Little sense of community, lifeless office environment, dead-eyed and overworked employees. "Flexible work arrangements" in name only, as recent policy changes have significantly reduced effectiveness especially if you have a long commute or family life. Too much emphasis on unimportant buzz such as embracing diversity and inclusion is just annoying, but par for the course in today's big tech industry.
