Pros
I had the opportunity to work with a modern cloud-based environment, as Micron uses Google Cloud Platform instead of traditional on-premise systems. During my internship, I was also exposed to tools like DBT, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, which are valuable experiences that strengthened my understanding of data engineering workflows. My mentor was very dedicated and supportive, and I truly learned a lot from both the technical and collaborative aspects of the team.
Kontras
The internship duration was relatively short, which limited the scope of contributions I could make. I would have loved to stay longer to deepen my involvement in production-level projects. Besides, there are frequent social events (may not suit everyone’s preferences)
