Reaktion von Mercy For Animals
7yMFA appreciates honest feedback and employer reviews from all current and former team members. Unfortunately, this review gives an inaccurate impression that we would like to correct.
A recent survey of our team members indicated that the majority of team members feel motivated and supported by their teams, team leaders, and leadership.
It is misleading to state that “current leadership laid off staff while giving themselves raises and promotions.” A very small number of positions were eliminated from the new organizational structure to better align our focus and to work toward our strategic goals within budget constraints. Additionally, a small number of team members, across all levels of the organization, were promoted and received small market increases. MFA prioritizes pay equity, and compensation analysis is an ongoing process to ensure we are paying fair and competitive wages.
MFA has and will always take very seriously any claims of racism or harassment, including opening investigations where appropriate and taking action, including disciplinary action up to termination.
Milo Runkle is a well-known and respected farmed animal advocate. All members of the MFA leadership team are vegan and passionate about animal rights and welfare. Yes, it is true that some of our newer leaders come to us with impressive business backgrounds - a strategic move on our part to align our values and mission with the business acumen and know-how to execute our strategic plan successfully, with the ultimate goal being to create a world where animals are respected, protected, and free to pursue their own interests.
We wish all former team members the best in the next chapter of their journey. MFA is and will continue to be a leader in the farmed animal rights movement, thanks to our passionate team members and supporters.
