Pros

Cabs, food if that appeals to you. They'll give you good money in the beginning. Work-life balance is good, at least in some teams. Some teams have good (long-running) projects.

Kontras

The appraisal process is a pain now, and increments aren't anywhere close to the market standards (at least in IT). Single-digit increments, forget about promotions. Too much toxic politics now might be ok at junior levels. But as you progress, too much of politics & managers don't want to promote, because they're not doing any work to justify the amount of salaries they're getting.

-Trustworthy immediate colleagues -Good work/life balance and flexibility

-Little career pathing within company. Organization is extremely siloed, and cheap as they simply aren't interested in paying for small things to advance one's career like local industry conferences and events such as team holiday dinners that would have minimal impact on the company's bottom line. -Pay not aligned with skills or talent marketplace -One would think a benefits/career consultant would have decent pay and benefits. This is not the case
