Ability to work from home, solid benefit package

Very challenging to be promoted; not transparent with how best to be promoted, and salaries seem to be skewed, and no good way to hold employer accountable for fair salary information. Since all increases are merit based, and merit is subjective, salaries across the organization seem a bit skewed. Cost of living increases are desperately needed in some regional areas more than others.

There are a number of factors that are considered in both compensation and career progression planning and decisions. For compensation, factors such as role, level, area of the business, geography, and more are considered. Career progression and promotion is very much tied to the area of the organization in which you work, the levels and roles within that area, and the associated promotion criteria to advance. I would recommend, as part of the 2019 goal-setting process, to discuss your promotion goals with your direct manager and seek clarity on the promotion criteria that applies to you in your role. -Trustworthy immediate colleagues -Good work/life balance and flexibility

-Little career pathing within company. Organization is extremely siloed, and cheap as they simply aren't interested in paying for small things to advance one's career like local industry conferences and events such as team holiday dinners that would have minimal impact on the company's bottom line. -Pay not aligned with skills or talent marketplace -One would think a benefits/career consultant would have decent pay and benefits. This is not the case
