Pros

Medable is fully remote, competitive salary and benefits.

Kontras

- Five layoffs in two years. - CEO and CTO are married, and have no idea how to run a successful company. Monthly all hands meetings are a joke, where we are told that everything is fine, and the 5th layoff is the path to profitability. - Friends of CEO are never in danger of being laid off, and are consistently given a pass while employees who are really making an impact are on the unemployment line. - Executive team know that the CEO (Michelle) is the problem, but will never speak up.

Pros

Amazing people, flexible schedules, ability to work from anywhere, innovation and creative solutions encouraged, competitive pay, overall good leadership, growth opps, and being part of something that is in the process of being built.

Kontras

Because of where the company is at in terms of maturity (still somewhat considered start-up), it can be fast paced, and at times chaotic. Some people feed off this and like being part of this phase, whereas others find this frustrating. I have had coworkers at Medable love this aspect like me, and I've had some that didn't see themselves at Medable longterm because of this. So while I can't think of too many cons, I would say this would be one I have seen firsthand from coworkers. For me, the main con is not getting as much face time with coworkers as I'd like.

Medadollars as incentive. Rest all is a experience full of horror

I have worked at four companies, and I've never experienced a workplace this toxic. A true sink or swim culture with almost no knowledge transfer or support. Everyone says, "Thats not my job" and keeps passing responsibilities around instead of helping. The slack cc culture is out of control people come at you over every issue, Publicly calling you out instead of solving problems. Mistakes are met with blame and shaming, creating a constant atmosphere of fear and intimidation. Avoid if you value collaboration, learning or a healthy work environment.
