annual reviews and raises are based off of cost of living increases rather than performance. The person that calls in and perform subpar work will sometimes get bigger raises than the ones who put effort in. there is no room for advancement. no praises when a job is well done and no goals for next year even suggested. if you like spinning your wheels and mediocrity this is the position for you.
