- Everyone who works here is really friendly and it is a very supportive/inclusive environment - We get to organize many events for different communities, (Universities, Senior Centers, Places of Worship), the outreach component is integral to the company - You get to see your direct impact when working with survivors who call Manavi's hotline and it is really rewarding -I got to attend informative trainings while being in this position and learned a lot about cultural competency, sexual assault/domestic violence awareness

The work I've done there is incredibly rewarding. It was a great feeling when I was able to make somewhat of difference in someones life. Built very good relationships and most staff is very supportive of one another.

Everything. I would have stayed at Manavi if it weren't for the terrible work conditions. Everyone who is put in charge becomes a micro manager. The co-founder and original boards who are associated with the organization are making it impossible for staff to stay. Constant degrading, being disrespected, unrealistic expectation with no guidance. People that are dedicated to ending violence against women should not be the abusers. Incredibly low staff moral and favoritism from "higher up" (YES there is TOTAL hierarchy) leads to conflicts and resentment among staff. There are no incentives and constant fear. A person should not be scared to come to work.
