Pros
Some very bright people work at Mitre . Most are quite cordial and share their knowledge. The benefits are good , retirement being one of the better deals . Next is work / life balance ,, Also a con as I'll explain next.

I'll first address work life balance . While it is great to have flexibility with arrival and departure times , Mitre has taken this to an entirely unheard of level . It is not uncommon to see employees arrive between 1000 to 1100 hrs. I must admit these people most likely put in their time but how can you run a business this way ? Many people don't show at all .. Again, are they doing work ? You bet ,but how efficiently is the company running ? This leads to much employee strife . For instance , this person barely even comes to work or that person is in with management . The review system, P&D is not working as it was suppose to . It has been hinted that a new review method will be put in its place . This would be a very welcome change for employees and management . Management. See below.
