Pros
I worked at lighthouse for nearly 5 years and the people at Lighthouse are some of the best in the business. Smart, intellectually curious, client focused, solution oriented, the adjectives can go on and on. The work environment is as friendly as it is demanding, however the industry as a whole is demanding. Lighthouse has a great collection of people, with of course an exception here and there (what company doesn't). It was exciting to work with such a uniquely talented group of people day in day out. Lighthouse also offers an environment for professional growth although your effort will determine how much you grow.
Kontras
Although an established company LED (Lighthouse eDiscovery) is run very much like a start up. Which streches people and resources thin and at time requires heroic efforts of its employees to meet desired goals. This means that at times employees will sacrifice personal life for the companies benefit and without profit sharing this personal sacrifice is generally done without direct compensation (although you will be celebrated internalltly... for a moment that is). However eDiscovery as whole is littered with experience no matter the company (the big boys excluded KPMG, Delloitte etc.). The only other con is the inexperienced management team, not at an executive level but at director level. Many of the directors are in their first real corporate management position and suffer the missteps that comes with inexperience. Messaging to employees can be unclear as well as departmental goals or even inter-departmental interactions. However this "con" lends itself to a enviroment of growth and opportunity as directors are open to suggestions and process improvements unlike most seasoned know it all managers.
