Pros

Pay is decent. but eventually you will decide your time is better spent somewhere else.

Although Lightpoint has been around for a while, they feel like an upstart company, in all the bad ways. Lack of basic procedures. the early days of your employment will feel fun and exciting and "we are nimble, because we are light on our feet" . This wears thin when you find out your life is now owned by the owner. Planning vacations, family events will suddenly become very difficult. Travel to client sites in central Oregon or the coast after hours will become "on you" and not compensated.

Pros

The team of folks at LightPoint are great, hard working, fun individuals. I look forward to coming to work each day to get to work with them. I feel like the company cares a lot about everyone that works for them and tries their best to provide opportunities for growth. Expectations are high from clients and leadership which drives hard work and innovation towards automation to work smarter. This gives plenty of opportunity to learn, grow, and step outside my comfort zone. The new location downtown is definitely a nice fun place to come to work, fun interior and centrally located downtown! The entire team is eager to learn and change as needed, there are very few sacred cows.

Growth can be hard, new and existing client growth can cause a lot of work to come at us at once while trying to bring on and train new staff to help support them causing days to go by very quickly.
