Pros

You have a contractual agreement to get paid for the work you perform.

IMPORTANT: I worked for Let's Roof, not Let's Pave, but Let's Roof is not on Glassdoor.** This is the 6th company I have worked for and the second startup and I can confidently say this is the WORST company I have ever worked for. This is the most toxic, passive aggressive, and fake positive environment I have ever worked for. At the time I joined the company I was the 6th person to come on board and the first Project Coordinator, this position is more of a Project Management role, but you will not be paid accordingly, the salary for me was only $57,000, I know the other PC and Account Coordinator were making the same, you will only be recognized when convenient for them, they expect you to hit the ground running but they did not even have a good training system on place, it was later on developed. If you enjoy work life balance, this is not the place for you, in one of the Town Hall meetings the CEO literally said "40 hours a week is the minimum I expect you to work" you will be guilt tripped for prioritizing yourself and your mental health, you are expected to prioritize your work, to work over hours, breaks and lunch breaks are not encouraged, at the time I was with the company a hybrid work setting was not available, eventually barely accepted may I ADD, JUST ONE DAY, but highly discouraged; however, after working long hours in the office, you ARE EXPECTED to take your laptop home in case an emergency happens. You are given expectations that are not always achievable, such as owning the entire process from beginning to end, which is fine, if you have the bandwidth, but you do not, in my case I was responsible for the entire service department for the whole country, it was impossible to do it on my own, this was later proven when a second PC came on board and I was out of the office, this person also informed me that it was so much workload and that they could not understand how I was doing this on my own for nearly 6 months with less training than this person had. Speaking of me having been out of the office, if you are a person who struggles with your mental health, I myself, am diagnosed with depression, anxiety, and OCD, I always when applying for a job disclaim that I have a disability, since all of these are considered that, I ended up having a literal mental meltdown and ended up in the hospital for close to a week, I was stressed out, sleep deprived, highly depressed, and extremely suicidal, when I reached out to HR, which btw HR is just one person is this person is not somebody empathetic, understanding, nor kind, I disclosed to this person, and the Let's Roof VP, who is my manager, I asked to please be allowed to work remotely for 4-6 weeks while the new medication would kick in and make me feel better and like my best self, I was told "unfortunately your position does not qualify to be remote, but you can get a medical accommodation"when I told them I would be Baker Acted, my manager did not say a single word and was chewing gum the entire time, he would just be nice to my husband when my husband would reach out to him to inform him that per Doctor's orders, my stay in the hospital would be extended since I was not allowed to be on my phone during my hospital stay, he would say he was praying for me and hoping I would be better, but these things were never said to me. Also, I am a female, I always felt disrespected and looked down by my Manager, a feeling that my fellow female workers would share. One of the things that makes it works is that the company has a huge pride on the culture, which idk where that pride is coming from because there is NO CULTURE here other than toxicity. I do not have enemies; however, if I did, I would not wish upon them to be working here.

Pros

It’s a fun and collaborative place to work where culture and people have recently become the top priority. Leadership is supportive, growth is encouraged, and the relationships built here last. Plus, with a strong brand and great reputation, it’s a company you can be proud to work for.

Kontras

Workloads can sometimes be heavier depending on the role, but they also create opportunities for greater responsibility and recognition.

Pros

Literally only the flexibility of the unlimited PTO. Everything else sucks at this office!

Kontras

I joined the organization with the expectation of a service and project coordination role; however, I found the company to be significantly more sales-driven than was communicated during the hiring process. This created a clear disconnect between the role presented and the day-to-day expectations. The office culture can be challenging, with limited emphasis on open communication and learning. While accountability is promoted as a core value, in practice it can feel more punitive than developmental. Employees are placed in “round table” accountability discussions without sufficient formal training and are still expected to respond to performance expectations without the necessary foundation. This approach can undermine confidence and limit effective learning. Communication can also at times be indirect or passive-aggressive. Leadership within the Orlando office also raises concerns due to limited oversight from corporate headquarters. This concentration of decision-making at the local level can result in inconsistent management practices and limited avenues for escalation or support. I would strongly recommend that the company improve transparency during hiring so candidates clearly understand role expectations and organizational priorities. In addition, increased involvement from headquarters is needed to ensure consistency in leadership and employee experience across the board. Finally, investing in structured management and leadership training for local leaders is essential! Without proper training, employees are not consistently supported, coached, or set up for success—particularly in roles requiring industry learning. Stronger leadership development would improve morale, retention, and overall organizational effectiveness. There is a HUGE difference between managing people and leading people! Please take positive review’s on here with a grain of salt.. at-least when it comes to the Orlando office in my opinion!
