Pros
You'll create great relationships with returning customers. Glasses for most people are a yearly thing so you'll see people annually. My GM is amazing.. very knowledgable and always willing to help. The skill set you get from working here will give you a leg up in optical. This can be good if you're looking at optical based careers in the future but not so great if this a temporary position.
Kontras
Its very hard to get a raise.. and there are minimal advancement opportunities. Once you're in a position with a set wage don't expect much fluctuation. Cooperate controls your hours--you will be very busy and understaffed. Its a fast paced job and you're always on your feet. Very hard to get hours off; weekends required. Commission is volume based and you barely get anything.
