Pros

Decent pay. Great benefits and employee activities.

Kontras

In my career I have worked at many places, None were as toxic as LSI Solutions. New mangers were hired and this company went downhill. When I started there, I really loved working there. There are now new managers promoting people to positions without posting jobs internally first. Not to mention the people getting promoted were not qualified for the position. If you fit in certain cliques, you are rewarded. If you didn’t fit in anywhere, it was miserable. I witnessed people being bullied, and I was bullied. You will look over your shoulder to see if you are next to get terminated for an unjust reason. They post to everyone that an employee is no longer at LSI. I have never seen this at other businesses. This company should be used for the harassment and bullying training videos. Another issue is the waste of their resources. There were people in job fields that were not utilized to their full potential and let go. Then later get an outside vendor was used to do the same job. The management is very narcissistic. In meetings, it's stated there is a lot of work to do and if you don't want to do it, LSI is not for you. I have never heard a company state that. I usually hear "thank you for your hard work" or something on those lines. One last con. Projects at LSI are complete buffoonery! Poorly planned, communicated, and executed. These are just tip of the iceberg on how horrible this place is. If I could give it zero stars, I would. I posted this to save potential candidates and employees from getting treated like I did. If you decide to work there, best of luck to you!

Having spent several years here in engineering, I feel like I've gained a solid, realistic perspective on how the company actually operates, which is why I want to share this feedback. When I first started, the environment was great. It was defined by strong teamwork, genuine excitement about building new things, and a real willingness to teach each other. Over time, though, it feels like we've really lost that culture. Once you've been here long enough to see past the initial honeymoon phase, a few troubling trends become really obvious: 1. Extreme management politics: Too often, it feels like leadership sets up departments to compete instead of collaborate. It's incredibly frustrating to get caught in the middle of political turf wars between managers when you're just trying to focus on your work and complete a project. 2. Blame instead of root-cause problem solving: As engineers, we are trained to look at the root cause of a failure to fix the system. Unfortunately, the culture here prioritizes finding a scapegoat over finding a solution. This has created an environment where people are genuinely afraid to flag technical issues or speak up about risks because they're worried about retaliation. 3. Deep departmental divides: There is a real issue here with cliques. Instead of working as one team to build a great product, departments treat each other like rivals.
You see it every day-Quality and Production don't get along, and Engineering and Planning are constantly at odds, which makes things very inefficient.
