Startups are not always ideal if you are looking for the perfect company (which are very few). Being proactive about what can be improved is something you should always do. Management is receptive about feedbacks and would be willing to try out new technologies if you can show them reasons.
There were few cons 3 years back,
- Lack of senior engineers
- Lack of dedicated mentorship
- Not using some common standards for software development
But all of them may already have or can be solved if you are transparent to the management about these. Again be very proactive as this is not just a random hidden figure you are working for. The company is like a big family. You have to play your role as part of the family.
