The students and the other teachers were wonderful and I liked the teaching materials a lot. The school is in a good location.

This school is under new management so things were a little chaotic and the role of each member of the management was often unclear. This made it confusing to know who to go to when I had a question, sometimes they wouldn’t be able to answer my question, at other times I would get an unhelpful, rude and surly response. When I had a meeting with management they interrupted me and argued with me when I tried to express some concerns.
This school did not have any staff meetings or teacher development at all during the time that I worked there. The absence of staff meetings meant that there was little communication about things that I needed to know to do my job. I was quite disappointed to see that the school was not committed to staff development, after a cursory training I started teaching, I was never observed and given feedback on my teaching, nor was I allowed to observe another teacher’s class, so I just relied on my own training and experience to prepare and teach my classes.
