I've ran numerous stores for this company and the demands, stress, long work days and non existent family time are reasons I must warn young, bright, career minded individuals to think twice before committing your life to Kroger. What they promise you on work life balance versus real life reality are entirely different. Once at the co-manager level and above, 6 and 7 day work weeks are the norm and your hours will be long and you will very seldom ever enjoy a traditional holiday with any of your family members again.
