Pros
Knowit clearly has a strong brand, at least as a web bureau / customized software developer. It also has a wide range of other capabilities ranging from business strategy consulting to data/analytics, security services, embedded development etc.
Kontras
Overall the feeling is that there's a lack of sense of direction. Leadership is very "hands off" and the idea is to let all the SMBs that together make up the Knowit group operate as they wish as long as they deliver the desired EBITA. This means that there is a high level of flexibility and autonomy, with decision making close to the ground, but also that Knowit never seems to reach organizational maturity. There is a clear lack of synergies across Knowit companies / business areas. Articulating a value proposition seems to be a real challenge and the company seems to be stuck in CV sales mode, always backfilling expertise but not being a value adding partner to customers.
