Pros
The culture at Jolt is one of "What you see is what you get", in a good way! Everything from the lack of dress code to the way we interact with customers is all very no-nonsense and straight forward. The expectations of you are high and clear. Most of the leadership consists of the very best men I have ever known. I have an immense amount of respect for them. They show me with every interaction how intelligent, passionate and caring they all are. I am proud to work with them. As a product, Jolt is groundbreaking and infinitely useful to Desk-less Workers. I wish I had had it when I worked in food service. Even within our office, we find ways to use our own product to improve our daily life and productivity.
Kontras
Jolt isn't for everyone. One of the company values is to "Do More with Less", and they mean that. You are expected to perform at a high caliber, with few resources at your disposal. In some ways this is motivating; in others, frustrating. Like most tech companies, there is a severe lack of female representation, especially in management. Minority representation has improved, but only slightly.
