Pros

Aaron Matos is one of the best CEOs to exist in tech, recruiting, and Phoenix. There's only been one private company to achieve unicorn status in PHX, and that's the one that Aaron founded and led.

Kontras

Jobing.com lost to Indeed, and the world has moved on from job boards.

Pros

Best reasons to work here: -- 3 days paid training -- You meet really cool clients -- Company iPhone and MacBook Air provided for every employee -- Office located in Skysong - modern office decor complete with Mac computers -- The office is surrounded by great places to get lunch -- Car Wrap Program is available to employees

Kontras

Challenges include: -- The company is known for paying way less than livable salary wages and they get away with it because they make their culture sound much cooler than it actually is. -- Bonuses for the sales team are promised each month but the criteria always changes and is impossible to reach so nobody ever gets the bonus. -- The last day of the month, everyone is panicked and morale is low because the sales goals are unrealistic. -- While working there, you get the impression (often) that Jobing.com has no competitive edge in the marketplace. --The CEO is known for devaluing good ideas and publicly humiliating employees on a regular basis. -- All the upper and mid-managers keep secrets from each other because nobody can agree on anything. -- Every time you walk in or out of the office you are being watched. -- Clique-ish, highly judgmental atmosphere. You'll need very thick skin to survive. -- Jobing.com/ Recruiting.com is notorious for overworking great employees until they burn out, or lose the energy/self-esteem it would require to go somewhere else. -- Performance/Peer reviews are too infrequent to really know how you're doing. -- Outdated management styles are used
