Pros

There were good discounts on their clothes. The people are friendly, and it helps your fashion sense. Every time you come to work, you dress to impress. Every sales associate are suppose to be a model. Since there was no commission, everyone was quite friendly. There wasn't any disputes about sales.

Kontras

The sales job did not align incentives well because there was no commission. Also there wasn't much to do as an sales associate. Other than bothering customers, folding clothes, and running the dressing rooms, the job is pretty boring. There isn't much the company can do about the situation.

Sometimes traffic can be really slow so it was hard to meet my goals as a full-time stylist.

Pros

Good time-off package. Holiday week off for office employees. Historically respected work-life balance and flexible working. Good employee discount and maternity leave.

Kontras

C-suite pushing a mandatory 3 days in-office after 5+ years of boasting flexibility as a cornerstone of their employee benefits package. Lack of clear and thoughtful communication of this new policy was frustrating and disheartening as an employee. Leadership, starting with the CEO, is at an all-time low of the last 6 years of working in their corporate office. Horrifying to see how poorly initiatives are getting rolled out, likely getting pushed down from board of directors. Would anticipate a rough transition into the company if you choose to take a role replacing the dozens of employees possibly being forced to leave the company due to RTO.
