Pros
Most of the people are nice and friendly. They occasionally have bagel or fruit day or a bbq. The concept of the company and the work itself is fine. The firm effectively has a monopoly on what they do in North America and makes millions in revenue each year. Flexible hours (core hours 10-3 with lunch from 12-1) is nice. This is a good place to go if you just want to put in your time, collect a paycheque and do as little actual work as possible. There are actually at least two employees that just walk around the property all day. I never saw them work once.
Kontras
Be aware that there are many staff members who find it challenging to interact with this company's highest level of leadership. I ignored some of the harsher reviews on Glassdoor and figured it was just a couple of bad eggs. They're entirely accurate. I observed a lack of leadership skills and a lack of the ability to effectively interact with others in a business environment. It was my experience that the highest levels of leadership were offensively impolite; I observed the work of myself and my colleagues downplayed consistently. The highest levels of leadership are hesitant or even adverse to investing into staff development or tools and resources. I witnessed sexism in the workplace against my female colleagues on several ovcasions. Unfortunately HR is powerless to support the employees. The company pays about 30% under the market standard. There is a lot of micromanagement from the most senior levels of leadership at this firm. I do not believe that level of leadership is interested in or open to employee feedbacks. I frequently witnessed suggestions be shut down until the suggesting staff become frustrated or a "yes" person and just keep their heads down and do what they are told. There are some good people working here who were A players but they've been suppressed into being B players at best after bending under the will of the most senior level of leadership. If you don't have to work directly with the this level you might be able to hide a little, but if you work with that level at any frequency, prepare to have your mind go numb. You do not want to work here.
