Pros
Resources. Autonomy - the company trusts us. WFH policy is perfect balance, 2 days in office, 3 days at home and seems flexible. They seem to care about the human not just the employee. I hope this feeling stays. A sense of calm and professionalism. This is not a “face paced environment” in the sense that they are understaffed. It is because everyone here is highly driven and motivated and proud of their work. A lot of exciting things to come with the year ahead. Lots of hard work, but it feels worthwhile. I already have an international mentor for career growth and several mentors for role growth. Everyone is willing to help each other genuinely. The onboarding information is really detailed. I feel like I know the product inside and out AND intuit as a whole. Leaders seem very transparent here and don’t gatekeep information; or so I’ve experienced so far. They clearly invest in their people as the incentives are amazing; perks and benefits etc. they sent me overseas for training which was such an awesome experience.
Kontras
It’s very intimidating as the company is huge. I feel pressure to perform; not from anyone in particular but more so to fit in appropriately. The onboarding is still a bit scattered and needs more structure. It took a while for me to really understand what my role actually was and no one really knows what I am doing day to day in my training so not 100% I’ve been doing the right thing all the way through. But I have been very self motivated to learn as much I can so that’s not been the worst thing for me. I feel like a very tiny fish in a huge pond and just hope I can keep up with any expectations of my performance.
