Pros
Great pay and bonuses Great perks, work out facility, time off to do volunteer work, free lunches a lot of the time Good benefits Some really great people Good products Stable company (at least where I was)
Kontras
Performance is more evaluated on obedience than results. Free thought and creativity is seen as rocking the boat and you run the risk of being singled out. Very micromanaged, you can be over your sales goal but if you didn't hit the required number of calls or required "talk time" you can be fired. I guess if you like a call center atmosphere you may be happy at Intuit, however, if you are a seasoned sales professional you will probably want to look elsewhere. A lot of the activity required is not revenue generating, just looks good on some report that upper management sees to make your manager look like he/she has control of you. Seems that there is a lot of favoritism and senior management looks the other way. If you thrive in corporate politics you will probably be successful at Intuit, but if you don't choose to play those games, you will not.
