There are some managers are really good leaders, they will help your career path. *Intuit Edmonton has some managers or director is not a lead, but a boss. They are promoting way faster than developers who had been done the more work in the same team. Micro-management during 1-on-1 just for slow down developers' promotion. *Promotion depends on the working years, but not productivities or contributions. *Switch dev team is hard and need political decision from managers' bias which is not product decision or by teams' requirement.
