Pros
- no set work schedule (min 7.5hrs/day)
- amazing staff/ team
- most management is helpful with any concerns you have
- if you feel like you would like to take on more responsibility it is often given
- if you wish to change roles within the company it is often allowed (as long as you have the needed requirements)
Kontras
- depending on who you report to, you may not ever get to talk to your manager leaving issues unresolved and up in the air for long period of time
- you can work late hours, take on multiple job titles and work 150%, but at your annual review (for merit increase) you will only go up 3-4% (unless you are a developer)
- even with a 3-4% salary increase, you are likely making far less than industry standard
- preferential treatment towards development staff as apposed to admin staff
- misleading job titles (you will be hired for a junior role and made to do the work of someone with senior responsibility; while only being paid junior wages
- no real job descriptions
- no sense of job security regardless of how good a job you are doing
