Kontras
During my time working at ISC, I have not seen a single employee exit unscathed. I have seen suicidal employees, confused and abandoned recent graduates having active breakdowns being ignored, a couple therapists needed PHP programs to cope with the environment that ISC perpetuates, no less there 4 harassment cases against leadership...I could go on. The only thing queer about this practice is its employees. When they say they are "for profit," believe them not just in the literal sense but in every exploitative connotation that the term can lend itself to. Additionally, they do not follow a strengths-based approach but the medical model of mental health, which, through process and evaluation, relies on a deficit approach to treatment. They need to be very clear about who they are. They use a deficit framing approach to treatment.
