Pros
Intermountain has a nice benefits package that includes tuition reimbursement. They also have facilities all over Utah so if you want to move around the state and stay with one company, that is an option.
Kontras
Things are going downhill very quickly. Corporate is focused on the company's national image and providing low cost quality healthcare, but they are cutting costs by cutting employees. Employee moral is at an all time low; and in our department more than half of our staff has quit in the last year. There is no work life balance anymore because of the outrageous amount of on-call hours that are required. Staff is getting slammed, burning out, and going to other hospitals in the valley.
