Pros
There is job security because even if you're terrible at your job, there is so much red tape, it's near impossible to fire someone. I'm just trying to find a silver lining. The business side of things are good and there's not any formidable competitors in Utah so Intermountain should continue to prosper. The best part of working there is knowing that you're working for a company that does a lot of good in the community due to their low costs for treatment.
Kontras
The downside to their low costs is that they have to take it from somewhere and it seems to be the incredibly low pay. They've made it known on several occasions that if you have a problem with your pay or work conditions, you're welcome to leave because there are plenty of other people looking for work. They see no unique value to people other than their degrees or certifications.
