I have seen nothing but understanding from management. I came in ready to rock and life handed me some wicked curveballs. I spoke to the necessary parties and they extended understanding and support.
I tend to ask questions if I'm unsure on something and there is no lack of folks around willing to come to the rescue.
Be willing to work and improve and management is on your side.

I am an active person so the call center style limits moving around and keeping the blood flowing.
This is a job that can be done from home but that is restricted/limited.

The past year saw some typical changes for a growing company such as becoming a lot more corporate, all the way down to 'hire anyone with a pulse and layoff others' approach and ridiculous penalties for not hitting a certain number... that is just sometimes not obtainable.
