Pros
Management tries, but it's not done for the right reasons. Done because they think it will increase numbers for bonus reasons. Training is ok, but it's still an old fashioned boy's club from a career perspective. Company talks about all the things to be "The Best Employer" but in reality, it's about corporate image and numbers. There are much better environments and companies out there.
Kontras
Salary is not competitive. You can find better elsewhere. It's really just a job and pay cheque until you find a better one. It's all about brown nosing and not what or how you do the job, but who you kiss up to. This applies to all levels up to Executive. Also, if you're a visible minority, forget about climbing the ladder. Promotions go to french speaking or someone who kisses up, and/or is blond. It's not about competence, but colour and networking. Ageism and not being a visible minority is huge in this company to progress. Company only monitors diversity by gender, not all the other factors. Extremely short-sighted.
