Pros
You will be offered a job. You will receive equipment that may or may not work. You will have an ever changing group of people to answer to. You will be asked to commit to a set schedule and to clock in on time. Once you clock in you will be told to clock out as there is rarely work. If you ask for work you will be dealt with in a patronizing manner (should be coming any time now) The next day you must clock in on time and immediately clock out or be reprimanded. They insist you check your email often while off the clock in the event there is a meeting or half hour training.
Kontras
Remote staff treated like 2nd class employees. Given no benefits, no pto, no consideration. They'll cut your work in the middle of the day and you wont see any for weeks. When work does come, they will expect you to achieve the same productivity and accuracy as full time, always working, in house employees. The in house employees you encounter are either over the top condescendingly enthused, short tempered or depressed.
