Pros

There are many great, well meaning people at Inmar. There are attempts to create a cohesive culture at the corporate headquarters in Winston-Salem. This does not always work, but the HR team tries to recognize employees and sometimes succeeds. There are also a number of training programs which can be of value.

Kontras

The executive leadership is very focused on profit that primarily benefits a select few. There are attempts to do profit sharing but it's mostly not worthwhile for employees who are interested in growth and don't want to stay at a company for 20 years. It's also hard to get promoted - even amazing people languish, there are very few minorities who are managers. The leadership team is mostly dominated by white men with just one woman on the team. Also, because the company has been passed along through private equity companies, it often cannot make the best investments to make the company competitive. It's also got such a diverse number of products and networks that it is hard for the company to focus. The CEO often makes somewhat random mandates that lower morale - like not allowing employees to enter through the front door of the company.
