Pros

There are really good people who work there who want to succeed and see the organization succeed as well. There is some flexibility if you need to go to a doctor’s appointment, or if you have child care issue or have to attend brief school events during the day.

Corporate executives in Winston-Salem have allowed a subculture to develop in the Fort Worth facility that is not meant for outsiders possessing advanced skills across industries. Leadership in that facility do not like to spend the time to train new associates nor the current associates they have in the organization to truly do their jobs. They have leaders in place who basically came into those roles because of favoritism or seniority rather than truly having the ability to do the jobs they are in. They may have the knowledge of the line of business they are responsible for but no ability to manage staff or to coach a more advanced associate who’s skills and education level exceed theirs. Understaffing is big. There have been numerous times where the lack of staffing resources has caused them problems. When last minute issues arrives, no matter what department it happens in, they pull people from across all different departments, provide no training on what the task is, but expect everyone to figure it out and get it done as quickly as possible. Again, an obvious sign of leaders being in the wrong position and not being effective in solving the problems that tend to arise in limited resource situations. You are set up to fail from day one. You are put into your role and if you fail due to something they knowingly didn’t train you on, they then start finger-pointing and passing the buck so not to look bad for what they as leaders have failed on. Do not address issues unless you already have another job lined up. The HR team known as Great Teams is a joke. They say they are aware of the issues in Fort Worth, but new people who have bad experiences are more than likely not to address them because they are quickly retaliated against by leadership who quickly and easily find out who talked to Great teams.
