Pros

Basically unlimited work potential. Ability to work as much or as little as possible. Weekly pay. 94% of the work is driving. Daily you are making a difference in people's days due to issues they have no resources of handling on their own.

Kontras

The leads and dispatch show zero respect for the schedule you send. No matter how hard or much you work for them, they will always hire on someone else that will take a chunk of your money. Leads bully you to cover calls. At no point does the company have your back when it comes to personal injury or damage to your equipment or vehicle even if it is one of the customers THEY send you to. They pay the drivers less than half of what they receive from Motor Clubs for handling a service call. Dispatchers play favorites with drivers of whom they are issuing work orders. They could afford to pay a few more dollars per call to the technicians, especially when it comes to GOA's and freeway calls.

Kontras

My experience at Inman’s Auto Rescue was significantly affected by ongoing issues related to the workplace culture. I want to present this feedback professionally, but it is important to accurately reflect the environment employees were working in. During my time there, I observed a pattern of hostility, unprofessional communication, and elevated tension that created a consistently uncomfortable atmosphere. Interactions often felt confrontational rather than collaborative, and it became difficult to perform effectively in an environment where employees frequently felt dismissed, criticized, or spoken to in a disrespectful manner. There was also a noticeable lack of support when concerns were raised. Employees who attempted to address issues were often met with defensiveness instead of solutions, which contributed to a sense of psychological unsafety. Over time, this created a culture where people felt hesitant to speak up, ask questions, or request help. Overall, the environment could be described as toxic, with stress levels heightened due to inconsistent expectations, unpredictable reactions, and a general absence of positive leadership behaviors. These conditions made it challenging to maintain morale, productivity, or a sense of stability. I believed the company would have benefited greatly from leadership training, clearer communication standards, and a stronger commitment to creating a respectful, supportive workplace. Addressing these issues would have improved employee well‑being and strengthened the organization as a whole.
